Chelsea absolutely destroyed Everton last night, winning 6-0 against the Toffees. Cole Palmer bagged four goals , including an argument with his team mates over who would take a penalty.

It took just 29 minutes for Palmer to complete his hat trick against Everton, with the 3rd capitalising on an awful pass out from Jordan Pickford, straight to Palmer who chipped it from the best part of 35 yards into an empty net. The big talking point of the game was the argument between 3 Chelsea players over who would get to take a penalty – with Palmer, Jackson and Noni Madueke all disagreeing over who would take the spot kick.

Everton manager Sean Dyche was understandably deflated after the game, saying “Collectively a down night without a shadow of a doubt. Perfect storm in the way that we seemed to get punished. The start of the game is spot on, a strange feeling around Chelsea we thought we could make them comfortable, we did.

‘The goals, miles off. People learning their trade, you have to get tackles in, read the game. Mildly better in the second half.

‘You have got to do the basics which we didn’t do. Chelsea are a good bunch of players and they play around you. The recovery is all over the place. Nothing to do with anyone else, we were miles off it.

‘That can’t happen again. We have six big games coming.’
