Liverpool were 4-0 up at half time thanks to goals from Naby Keita, Diogo Jota, and 2 goals from Mo Salah, before adding a 5th in the second half, again through Mo Salah who completed his hat trick and rubbed salt into Man Utd’s wounds.
Liverpool were heavy favourites going into the game, as United had a terrible run of form under Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, and immediately stamped their authority by scoring after just 5 minutes through Naby Keita.
It was 2-0 after just 13 mins through Jota, and Salah bagged 2 just before half time , resulting in fans leaving the stadium in their 1000s , refusing to see any more.
