Adriano is a former Brazilian footballer who most notably played for Inter Milan, and was once one of the most feared strikers in world football due to his frightening pace, ability, skill, and was most commonly known for his unbelievable shot power.

Adriano’s full name is Adriano Leite Ribeiro. His nickname was L’Imperatore (The Emporer).

Adriano played for 9 clubs in total, some on more than one occasion.

He started his career at Brazilian side Flamengo, before moving to Inter Milan in 2001. He was subsequently loaned to Fiorentina, before being sold to Parma, where he spent 2 seasons.

He returned to Inter in 2004, where he made a name for himself, scoring 47 goals in 115 appearances, and forming a strike partnership at international level with Ronaldo, making him one of the most feared strikers in the world.

He was loaned to Sao Paulo, having faced mental health problems and alcohol issues, due to the death of his father. He bagged 17 goals in 29 games, before returning to Flamengo for a year.

He returned to Serie A, this time with Roma, however failed to make an impact, and only made 5 appearances before heading back to Brazil to sign for Corinthians.

He had another stint at Flamengo, before trying his hand with Atletico Paranaense, and Miami United before hanging up his boots in 2016.
